PDI Atacama detuvo a ciudadano peruano con alerta roja de Interpol
Detectives del Departamento de Migraciones y Policía Internacional (Demig) de la Policía de Investigaciones de Copiapó, realizaron un procedimiento donde lograron la detención de una persona de nacionalidad peruana, que contaba con un amplio prontuario policial en su país, siendo alerta roja a nivel Interpol.
La Oficina Central Nacional (OCN) de Interpol Chile, dependiente de la Policía de Investigaciones, emitió un encargo debido a un ciudadano extranjero que se encontraba en alerta roja por los delitos de violación y aborto, emitida por la OCN Interpol de Lima, Perú. Además, la persona mantenía una orden de expulsión administrativa pendiente de territorio chileno.
“En virtud a este encargo, detectives del Demig Copiapó realizaron diligencias investigativas para ubicar a esta persona, quien al no presentar recursos en el Servicio Nacional de Migraciones y/o en la Corte de Apelaciones en el plazo determinado, fue detenido. El ciudadano peruano llevaba cuatro años en nuestro país, consciente de su situación judicial y la orden de detención que mantenía vigente en Perú, por lo que constantemente evadía la acción de la justicia”, señaló el subprefecto Arturo Apablaza, Jefe del Departamento de Migraciones y Policía Internacional de la PDI Copiapó.
Tras su detención, oficiales policiales procedieron al traslado de la persona hasta el Complejo Fronterizo Santa Rosa de Tacna, donde fue entregado a la Policía Nacional de Perú, para posteriormente ser puesto a disposición de la justicia de ese país.
