Autoridades se comprometen a esclarecer muerte de 125 personas tras tragedia del fútbol en Indonesia
Las autoridades de Indonesia se comprometieron este lunes a esclarecer la muerte de 125 personas, incluidos 17 menores, durante una estampida en un estadio de fútbol después de que la Policía lanzara gases lacrimógenos contra aficionados violentos.
El estadio Kanjuruhan de la ciudad de Malang, en la isla de Java, vivió el sábado la peor tragedia en el fútbol indonesio y unos de los peores episodios en este deporte jamás registrados en todo el mundo.
El ministro indonesio de Seguridad, Mahfud MD, anunció hoy la formación de una comisión independiente. Lo anterior, para investigar lo ocurrido en el estadio Kanjuruhan, donde este lunes jugadores y empleados del club de fútbol Arema y aficionados rindieron con lágrimas homenaje a las víctimas.
En una rueda de prensa, Mahfud dijo que la comisión investigará los actos de violencia cometidos por parte de los aficionados, así como la actuación de los agentes en caso de que se extralimitaran en el uso de la fuerza.
