El 29 de junio debutará en los Juegos Bolivarianos de Valledupar, Colombia, el tenista copiapino Matías Soto Carmona, que es parte del Team Atacama y quien hace pocos días ganó su primer torneo como profesional en el torneo M15 de Quito, Ecuador.
Gracias a este título, el joven copiapino se meterá entre los mejores 750 mejores tenistas del mundo y quedará como el octavo mejor jugador del país.
La delegación atacameña en los Juegos Bolivarianos está compuesta también por la lanzadora del disco, la atleta Karen Gallardo, y la karateca, Fernanda Vega.
