Plebiscito 2020: Gobierno trabaja para evitar financiamientos irregulares en campaña
El ministro secretario General de la Presidencia (Segpres), Felipe Ward, anunció que el Gobierno está trabajando en una serie de medidas para evitar «vacíos legales» en el plebiscito constitucional.
Tras las advertencias del Servel y políticos de oposición sobre el posible financiamiento irregular de las campañas electorales, el titular de la Segpres señaló que «estamos realizando un estudio para identificar todos aquellos vacíos que podrían haber para este plebiscito y otros procesos eleccionarios».
«Como Gobierno, esperamos a la brevedad enviar un paquete de medidas legislativas para corregir, complementar y despejar las dudas que existen para este proceso y otros futuros», aseguró Ward.
«Conformamos una mesa de trabajo con el Servel», señaló el ministro, con el objetivo de «solventar, por ejemplo, financiamiento de gasto, limpieza del padrón, candidaturas independientes y otros temas».
