Adjudican proyecto que permitirá remodelar la Sala Museográfica de Freirina

Una buena noticia para Freirina es la que se dio a conocer recientemente respecto a los fondos adjudicados para el mejoramiento de la Sala Museográfica, que se encuentra al interior del Edificio Los Portales. Se trata del proyecto denominado: “Mejoramiento de Sala Museográfica, Freirina en el tiempo, la comuna de los monumentos”, que adjudicó más de 26 millones de pesos.
El proyecto fue financiado a través del “Fondo para el Mejoramiento Integral de Museos (FMIM) de la Subdirección Nacional de Museos (SNM), del Servicio Nacional del Patrimonio Cultural, organismo perteneciente al Ministerio de las Culturas, las Artes y el Patrimonio. Convocatoria 2021. La iniciativa radica en potenciar y fortalecer las salas museográficas, recorriendo su historia monumental y minera principalmente, aunque complementando con su historia social y de archivos. La estrategia principal para esta nueva etapa de mejoramiento es fortalecer y generar audiencia, así como la búsqueda de afianzar un nuevo espacio hacia la identificación, investigación y resguardo de piezas de colección, que se caracteriza por crecer de manera comunitaria por lo que apuesta por una visión propia de la comuna y su gente.
La remodelación está a cargo de la arquitecta Ruth Guerrero, quien indicó que la Sala Museográfica está inserta en un edificio patrimonial, que además es un Monumento Nacional, que reúne toda la historia colonial, es un edificio emblemático desde el punto de vista patrimonial, es eje y parte importante del casco histórico de Freirina, “entonces estas salas representan el patrimonio in situ de la comuna, que se caracteriza por esa construcción comunitaria, eso es algo súper importante, y desde allí se intentará levantar un recorrido por esta historia monumental y minera principalmente, potenciando las salas de estilo colonial, la minera y la social”, destacó la profesional.
FUTURO Ruth Guerrero dio cuenta de la futura transformación que sufrirá la Sala Museográfica, indicando que “en concreto podemos indicar que este proyecto viene a remodelar y equipar 4 salas de exposición permanente con equipamiento museográfico, que va desde cambio de mobiliario, gráficas informativas de las piezas de colección y archivo, equipamiento visual y mejoramiento de luminarias adecuadas. “Contar que se comprarán insumos tecnológicos para acercar a la comunidad nuevas alternativas de las visitas museales, entregando un nuevo recorrido histórico patrimonial y un relato estructurado de lo que es la historia de Freirina. Además, todos sabemos y conocemos, de este gran trabajo de resguardo que tiene la actual administración municipal, además este proyecto busca insertarse como una iniciativa integradora y accesible para todos y todas”, concluyó.
Finalmente indicar que para el Alcalde Cesar Orellana este proyecto es todo un acierto, ya que ha sido la misma comunidad que ha donado gran parte de las piezas que hay en las salas. “No me queda más que agradecer a la profesional a cargo, no me cabe la menor duda que la Sala Museográfica tomará un nuevo rumbo y he de esperar que la comunidad valore lo que se está haciendo por resguardar nuestro patrimonio e identidad”.
