Incendio en pleno centro de Vallenar afectó a locales comerciales con serios daños estructurales
****Siniestro se registró la mañana de este lunes en calle Colchagua, entre Serrano y Prat, pleno centro de la comuna.
********* Antecedentes indican que en horas de la mañana de este lunes un local comercial que se encuentra ubicado en pleno centro de la capital del Huasco por motivos que serán materia de la investigación se vio envuelto por las llamas.
Según esos antecedentes proporcionados por las oficinas de Onemi Atacama se indicó que la información entregada por bomberos Vallena daba cuenta que en horas de la mañana se registró un incendio estructural en un local comercial ubicado en calle Colchagua entre calles Serrano y Prat, comuna de Vallenar, el siniestro afectó un local comercial, que posteriormente pese al arduo trabajo de los voluntarios se propagó por el entretecho a otros locales colindantes. Se agregó que bomberos, ante el incremento del fuego, debió declarar alarma de incendio con toques de sirena que alarmó a la ciudadanía.
Al llegar al lugar se informó que los voluntarios habían sido objeto de intento de agresión por un grupo de personas que se encontraban en el sitio del suceso, pero que no pasó a mayores.
Producto de este evento y de forma preventiva se evacuaron a un total de 48 personas de locales comerciales colindantes, Por otra parte se señaló que serían 18 personas como damnificados laborales. Por su parte, Carabineros debió realizar la interrupción de tránsito en calle Colchagua entre las calles Serrano y Prat, para facilitar el trabajo de los equipos de emergencias. A raíz de este evento no se reportaron personas lesionadas.
En el control y combate del fuego trabajaron personal de bomberos de Vallenar, Freirina y Alto del Carmen, carabineros de Vallenar, Delegación Presidencial Provincial de Huasco, empresa eléctrica CGE y comunal de emergencia Vallenar. El origen o causas del incendio deberán ser investigadas por el personal especializado de bomberos y carabineros, cuyos informes se harán llegar al fiscal de turno que tomó conocimiento del evento.
