Exponen la ancestral artesanía en totora

La agrupación ‘’Logrando Sueños’’, de la comuna de Freirina, dio inicio a su exposición ‘’Recuperando el uso de la totora con mujeres discapacitadas de Freirina’’ en el centro cultural padre Luis Gil de la comuna de Huasco, evento financiado por el FONDART regional, dentro de la línea de actividades formativas.

Este encuentro, contó con la presencia de los alcaldes de Huasco, Genaro Briceño Tapia y de Freirina, César Orellana Orellana, en compañía de representantes de la Corporación Cultural de Huasco, representantes del programa EDLI, la Familia Triviño González, la cantante Karen Navarro, y la maestra artesana Alicia Tapia Pizarro.

Este proyecto, tuvo como finalidad, aprender sobre el uso de la totora, además de brindar un nuevo espacio para las mujeres que cumplen con la labor de cuidar a personas discapacitadas, como también, a las mujeres con discapacidad física, sensorial o intelectual, y, de esta forma, facilitarles el acceso a las artes y la cultura.

Además se incorporó ajustes inclusivos, entre los cuales destacan la participación de una facilitadora de lengua de señas y las estrategias de trabajo manual para personas no videntes.

Los talleres, fueron realizados desde junio del 2021 por la destacada artista local Alicia Tapia Pizarro, y se concretaron gracias al financiamiento del proyecto que la agrupación de la discapacidad ‘’Logrando Sueños’’, presento al FONDART regional.

Está muestra, será presentada nuevamente mañana viernes 28 de enero, en la localidad de San Félix, comuna de Alto del Carmen.
