Minsal registra 2.361 casos nuevos y 676 pacientes se mantienen en UCI
Ayer domingo, el Ministerio de Salud reportó 2.361 casos nuevos de covid-19 en Chile, 1.517 de ellos sintomáticos. Además, la positividad PCR marcó 3,03% a nivel nacional.
“La variación de casos nuevos confirmados a nivel nacional es de -4% con respecto a los siete días anteriores y de 2% respecto a los últimos catorce días”, informó la cartera. Las regiones con mayor aumento de contagios durante la última semana son Ñuble, Los Lagos, Coquimbo y Biobío.

Con ello, los casos activos llegaron a 14.433. Las regiones Metropolitana (4.228), Bío Bío (2.110) y Valparaíso (1.579) tienen un mayor número de personas en condiciones de propagar la enfermedad.
El índice de incidencia más alto a nivel nacional, por 100 mil habitantes, se registra en Aysén, seguida por Atacama, Los Lagos y Biobío.
“La positividad de la Región Metropolitana es de 2% en las últimas 24 horas y 8 regiones del país tienen una positividad igual o menor a 3%”, informó el Minsal.
En cuanto a Redes Asistenciales, hay 676 pacientes covid internados en UCI. De ellos, 592 requieren de ventilación mecánica (87,57%).
Finalmente, se reportaron 21 fallecidos durante las últimas 24 horas. Con ello, se contabilizan 38.313 decesos desde el inicio de la emergencia sanitaria.
