Una investigación conjunta, entre OS-7 de Carabineros y la Fiscalía Regional, dio origen a la operación denominadda ‘Angel Malo’, dio como resultado desbaratar cuatro focos de venta de sustancias ilícitas en Caldera.
Como resumen se cuenta a 4 detenidos, además de la incautación de armas de fuego y blancas, drogas y dinero en efectivo, producto este último del ilícito de microtráfico.
Este operativo lleva el apodo de uno de los detenidos, y de acuerdo a los antecedentes aportados por el Jefe de la Sección OS7 Mayor Eugenio Olea García precisa que producto de una investigación desarrollada por Carabineros del OS7 junto a Fiscalía se logró concretar una masiva intervención por tráfico de drogas en pequeñas cantidades en varios pasajes de la población Nueva Caldera.

Como resultado de la labor realizada por el personal especializado de Carabineros se pudo sacar de circulación y evitar la venta de una importante cantidad de pasta base de cocaína y marihuana, que estaban listas para ser comercializadas, pero además destaca la incautación de un rifle de aire comprimido, sin marca, con su respectiva mira telescópica; una pistola a fogueo, marca Zoraki, calibre 9mm.; un revólver a fogueo, marca Magnum, calibre 380 9mm. un rifle marca KJ Works, sin marca y 9 cartuchos a fogueo marca Pobjeda, calibre 9mm.
También se logró la detención de dos mujeres identificadas con las iniciales M.Y.J.A., de 22 años, chilena, sin antecedentes penales; J.C.R.S., de 23 años, chilena, sin antecedentes penales y dos hombres identificados con las iniciales C.A.A.C., de 30 años, chileno, con antecedentes por Homicidio Simple y L.Y.E.R.M., de 27 años, chileno, sin antecedentes. Todos fueron puestos a disposición de los tribunales por los delitos de infracción Ley 20.000 e infracción Ley 17.798.
Finalmente indicar que en cuanto a la droga incautada, esta consistió en 139 gramos 800 miligramos de Marihuana equivalente a 2.80 dosis, avaluada $ 1.398.000 aproximadamente. 43 gramos 100 miligramos de Pasta Base de Cocaína, equivalente a 216 dosis valorada en la suma estimada de $ 1.080.000.
