Con éxito se desarrolla la tercera versión del Open de Taekwondo en Copiapó

Una gran cantidad de jóvenes, provenientes de toda la región de Atacama y el norte del país, participaron activamente en la tercera versión del Open de taekwondo que se desarrolló en el polideportivo Karen Gallardo de la capital regional.


Al respecto el Técnico del programa promesa Chile juvenil Angelo López, comentó que: “Esta tercera versión del torneo open de Taekwondo que se está desarrollando en Copiapó, concentra una serie de deportistas de la zona norte del país, y que es financiado a través del Instituto Nacional del Deporte”.

“Este tipo de eventos permite visualizar futuras promesas de este deporte, principalmente en categorías infantiles, cadetes y juvenil, y por tanto como técnico de la Región, podemos buscar los recambios, como también potenciar las habilidades de deportistas, para incorporarlos a la selección regional”, explicó.

Finalmente el Técnico del programa promesa Chile juvenil Angelo López, valoró la participación de jóvenes en este deporte: “De todas formas y gracias a este tipo de torneos, tenemos un importante semillero, principalmente en el área infantil, que dirige el profesor Esteban Alvarez, quien además está abocado a la captación de deportistas para esta disciplina”.
