Distinguen a atleta atacameño
El Seremi del Deporte, Guillermo Procuriza, y las Directoras Regionales del IND, Maritza Vera, y del Injuv, Francisca Zárate entregaron un reconocimiento al joven atleta del programa #PromesasChile del Mindep-IND, Joel Vallejos , quien destacó en el Campeonato Nacional de Atletismo sub 18, realizado en Puerto Montt, donde obtuvo medalla de oro en la prueba de 100 metros planos, con una marca de 1.03.98 minutos y, en los 200 metros planos, ganó la presea de plata con 23.74 segundos.
En la ocasión, las autoridades entregaron una medalla al deportista que pertenece a los registros del Club Atlético Copiapó y es también parte del Team Atacama que apoya el Gobierno Regional, y le ofrecieron su cooperación y asesoría en diferentes áreas para que pueda continuar su carrera deportiva a nivel universitario.
