Minsal reporta 18 decesos y 405 casos: Positividad nacional fue de 1,2% y 1% en la RM

El Ministerio de Salud reportó 18 nuevos decesos por covid-19 inscritos por el Registro Civil, de acuerdo a la información entregada por el Departamento de Estadística e Información de Salud (DEIS), lo que eleva el total nacional de defunciones a 36.438 con PCR confirmado.

La cifra de defunciones informada esta jornada por la autoridad sanitaria es la más baja desde el 24 de marzo, cuando también se señalaron 18. El martes de la semana pasada, los organismos pertinentes indicaron 31 fallecimientos.

Además informó 405 casos en las últimas 24 horas, (el martes pasado hubo 514, la cifra más baja desde el 27 de abril de 2020, cuando fueron 482). De estos contagios, 278 presentaron síntomas, 92 fueron asintomáticos y hubo 35 sin notificar. Los martes y miércoles se suele contabilizar menos casos, debido al fin de semana. El ministro Enrique Paris dijo que «once regiones disminuyen sus casos en los últimos siete días y 14 lo hacen en los últimos 14 días. La variación de nuevos casos confirmados a nivel nacional es -11% y -30% para la comparación de 7 y 14 días respectivamente».
