Asociación Regional de Municipios denuncia maltrato de Seremi de Salud hacia los 9 municipios de Atacama
En un comunicado emitido por la Asociación Regional de Municipios de Atacama (ARMA), la organización señala de “lamentable” que la autoridad sanitaria inicie sumarios sanitarios hacia los 9 municipios por no cumplir el calendario de vacunación.
En ese contexto, “lo que hace la Seremi es cuestionar más que incentivar a los equipos, poniéndolos en contexto de máxima exigencia por la pandemia, a sabiendas que durante todo este tiempo se ha trabajado sin descanso para proteger a la población, pensábamos que trabajaríamos de la mano con la Seremi y con un solo propósito, que es hacer frente de manera conjunta a la pandemia” señaló ARMA en el comunicado.
Asimismo aducen que “el quiebre de stock de vacunas no es responsabilidad de los municipios, sino de la gestión del gobierno, en comprar, trasladar y distribuir las vacunas. Esto responde a la gestión centralista de este gobierno, que dio la orden para comenzar a hacer sumarios, saltando el carácter reservado que debe manejarse ante estas situaciones y donde nuestras autoridades regionales no tienen la capacidad para dialogar y resolver de manera colaborativa estas deficiencias en nuestra región, sino que solo obedecen a una actitud altanera de sus jefes en Santiago, sin considerar la propia realidad de la región”.
De acuerdo a lo señalado, el país tiene una cobertura de un 76% de vacunación y la región de Atacama un 81%. “El país es reconocido a nivel mundial por la cobertura y a quienes hacemos posible ese galardón el gobierno de manera errónea, nos maltrata con sumarios y fiscalizaciones que solo producen frustración en quienes estamos día a día luchando para proteger a la población y lograr objetivos importantes que permitan reactivar las actividades e ir normalizando nuestras vidas en razón de una mejor salud y calidad de vida” enfatizó la organización.
