Con el objetivo de dar a conocer las carreras que ofrece la Educación Superior en el país, es que se realizará una nueva edición de la Feria de Postulación online desde el 6 al 8 de agosto, en el sitio feriadepostulacion.cl. Además, en esta feria los estudiantes podrán acceder a las alternativas de Pregrado (diurno y vespertino), Postgrados, MBA, Magister, Diplomados, Programas Advance, Executive, Programas especiales y de perfeccionamiento, así como también cursos online y de especialización.
La Feria de Postulación es una de las plataformas más importante del rubro en Chile, con información detallada de más de carreras que se imparten en universidades, institutos profesionales y centros de formación técnica (CFT). Así como en las ediciones anteriores, la iniciativa contará con stands digitales que entregarán la información y orientación necesaria sobre mallas curriculares, sedes y aranceles para realizar una correcta postulación.
Como dato, en los procesos anteriores de postulación, se ha evidenciado una tendencia clara hacia las ingenierías, que continúan liderando entre los mejores salarios, al tiempo que las carreras técnicas han seguido en alza debido principalmente a su corta duración y buenos sueldos. De acuerdo con información del Mineduc, entre las carreras mejores pagadas al cuarto año de egreso, están: Ingeniería Civil en Metalurgia e Ingeniería Civil en Minas ($2.500.000 promedio), Ingeniería de Industrial, Ingeniería de Ejecución en Metalurgia e Ingeniería en Minas ($2.200.000 a $2.300.000 promedio) y Medicina, Ingeniería Civil Mecánica, Ingeniería de Ejecución en Minas, Metalurgia y Geología (todas con sueldos superiores a los $2.000.000). En cuanto a las carreras técnicas, el Mineduc señaló como las mejor pagadas al primer año de egreso a Técnico en Minería y Metalurgia ($1.000.000), Técnico en Instrumentación, Automatización y Control Industrial ($851.496), Técnico en Mantenimiento Industrial ($770.000), Técnico en Mecánica Industrial ($740.000) y Técnico en Logística ($695.000).
Por otra parte, la Subsecretaría de Educación Superior informó que del total de estudiantes que ingresaron en 2020, el 53,1% fueron mujeres y 46,9% hombres, tendencia que se ha mantenido en los últimos cinco años y que se repite en todos los tipos de instituciones. Mientras que las carreras de pregrado con mayor presencia femenina son las del área Salud, Educación y Ciencias Sociales, al contrario, las ligadas a la Tecnología tienen mayor presencia masculina.
En estos últimos 17 años, la Feria de Postulación se ha alzado como la plataforma de consulta más trascendente para los postulantes de la educación superior. Por ella han pasado más de un millón y medio de estudiantes y más de 100 instituciones académicas en las cinco regiones donde se ha realizado presencial. Ahora, en su formato online, ha adecuado su oferta para que, desde cualquier parte de Chile, se pueda acceder a las diferentes opciones académicas.
