Belinda Bencic jugará por el oro individual y de dobles en Tokio 2020
La suiza Belinca Bencic, 12ª en el ranking WTA y 161ª en duplas, al igual como hizo el chileno Nicolás Massú en Atenas 2004, jugará la final individual y de dobles en el torneo de tenis olímpico que se disputa en los Juegos de Tokio 2020.
Bencic, durante esta jornada, superó las dos semifinales para meterse en la definición por el oro, en donde también intentará emular la épica del «Vampiro», quien conquistó el doblete olímpico en Grecia.
En el primer turno de este jueves Bencic batalló por dos horas y 45 minutos para eliminar a la kazaja Elena Rybakina (20ª) por 7-6(2), 4-6 y 6-3.
