Asociación minera de Inca de Oro recibe del seremi de Minería la planta Nenita I

Con la firma del acta de traspaso hacia la Asociación Minera de Inca de Oro se oficializó el inicio de operaciones de la planta La Nenita I que procesará oro que extraen los pequeños mineros y mineros artesanales de la comuna de Diego de Almagro y de la región.                                                                                                                                                                

 Iniciativa que forma parte del Fondo Nacional de Desarrollo Regional que el Consejo Regional junto al Gobierno de Atacama aprobaron para apoyar a la pequeña minería a obtener maquinarias, avances en metros, seguridad e innovación pero que además va a modernizar tres plantas de tratamientos.                                                                                                                                                                                                 

Tras la firma del documento el seremi de Minería, Raúl Salas dijo que “esta es una planta única en sus características en el país que se encuentra en el marco del convenio Minamata que nuestro presidente ratificó y que busca la eliminación del mercurio en las faenas mineras. Me llevo muy buena impresión respecto del sistema que se ha implementado para recuperación del agua y el aporte con luminarias solares realizado por la empresa lo que la hace aún más sustentable”.                                                                                                                                                                                                    “Es importante destacar que ningún gobierno ha puesto un acento tan importante en la pequeña minería como lo ha hecho el Gobierno del Presidente Sebastián Piñera y que estos proyectos FNDR con los cuales se busca ayudar directamente a la minería artesanal se están ocupando de buena manera de lograr ese objetivo”, agregó Salas. 

Además de la solemne entrega se realizaron las pruebas que ponen en marcha de la maquinaria y las piscinas. El proceso consiste en la lixiviación del oro vía cianuración, en la cual se procesarán los relaves que posee la agrupación minera apilados y que son puesto en una carpeta de impermeabilidad.      Se riegan con solución que se canaliza a la plata de absorción una vez que pasa por la columna el oro queda en el carbón activado y cada cierto tiempo se tiene que cosechar ese carbón activado para producir el metal doré.                                                                                                                                                                               José Araya Plaza presidente de la Asociación Minera de Inca de Oro dijo que “al fin tenemos planta en Inca de Oro con toda la documentación gracias al cariño que le puso la gente a este proyecto que nos hace ser muy agradecidos del Gobierno Regional. Esto va a beneficiar indirectamente al minero, al fletero, al negocio de la esquina porque en esta parte de Atacama es el último eslabón donde se desarrolla la minería artesanal y esta clase de minería no debe desaparecer. Nosotros debemos velar que esto se mantenga en el tiempo que se cuidan nuestras raíces mientras la minería no le falle a Chile seguiremos siendo prósperos y felices”.                                                                 

 La planta La Nenita I además de dejar de lado el uso del mercurio, tiene sistema de reutilización de agua y parte de la planta trabaja con energía solar, lo que la hace más sustentable. Esta planta replica los estándares de productividad y calidad que posee la mediana y gran minería en la pequeña minería, ya que industrializa un proceso que en la actualidad se realiza mediante técnicas artesanales, tal como hacen las grandes empresas el día de hoy.
