Directora Regional de Servel hizo balance de la primera jornada de elecciones y explicó la continuación del proceso
La Directora Regional del Servicio Electoral, María Isabel Barón, hizo un balance de como fue la primera jornada eleccionaria en Atacama.
Según expresó, en la región se logró la constitución del 100% de las mesas, y el día estuvo marcado por la tranquilidad, y cierta lentitud en el flujo de votantes.
“Estuvo el día bastante tranquilo, los locales de votación sin atochamientos, fue a votar gente, aunque en este preciso momento no podemos contabilizar cuanta hasta que tengamos más datos, pero en general el día estuvo lento”, comentó la directora.
“Respecto de la constitución de mesas logramos el 100% de mesas instaladas en Atacama, todas funcionando, eso se logró como a las 10:30 horas, estuvimos entre las 8 primeras regiones que logró tener el 100%, el proceso se realizó de forma tranquila, ordenada, no hubo atochamientos en los locales de votación, pero creo que la gente irá a votar en mayoría el día domingo, como ha sido nuestra costumbre republicana desde que tenemos procesos eleccionarios”, dijo.
Además, Barón explicó como funciona a el proceso de suspensión de los comicios para su reanudación el día domingo.
“Desde las 6 de la tarde empieza el cierre del primer día del proceso, las mesas receptoras cierran y empiezan a levantar las actas, de la suspensión del proceso eleccionario, no hay recuento de votos hoy (ayer) porque no hay escrutinios, se revisan los números de talón del voto y se ven la cantidad de personas que sufragaron, de acuerdo al registro de mesa”, explicó.
“Las actas de suspensión del proceso se llenan en triplicado, se empiezan a sellar las urnas, como establece la ley, se cuenta el material electoral que queda para la elección de mañana (hoy), y las urnas ingresan a una sala destinada para la custodia del material, y después que ya no queda ninguna, se procede al cierre de la sala destinada como bóveda para el acopio, con sellos que manda el servicio electoral, y las llaves quedan en poder del delegado”, añadió.
“Mañana (hoy), se hace el escrutinio y ya podemos tener resultados, pero tarde en la noche, de quienes serían los candidatos electos, partiendo de la base que el escrutinio parte primero con los constituyentes”, dijo finalmente.
