Entrevista a Rony Acuña, candidato a alcalde por la comuna de Huasco: “Realizaremos las transformaciones que Huasco necesita en vivienda, seguridad, adultos mayores, entre otros, potenciando y visibilizando el emprendimiento local, patrimonio y turismo”

(Por Rodrigo Ferrada).- Rony Acuña Bórquez, nacido el 19 de diciembre de 1981, huasquino, padre de dos hijos, actualmente es candidato alcalde por la comuna de Huasco. Es su segunda incursión en política, ya que participó igualmente por la alcaldía de esa comuna en las pasadas elecciones, como independiente, donde obtuvo la segunda mayoría. En conversación con Diario Chañarcillo, habló de sus principales ejes programáticos, basados en el aumento de la infraestructura, la vivienda, el apoyo al adulto mayor, el fomento al deporte y el rescate y realce del patrimonio cultural huasquino.

P: ¿Cuáles son sus principales propuestas para la comuna de Huasco?

R: “Principalmente en propuestas de infraestructura, vamos con la construcción de 350 viviendas, que es un compromiso que tenemos adquirido ya con el Ministerio de Vivienda y Urbanismo de Atacama, estamos trabajando en la construcción de un conjunto habitacional, primeramente de 285 casas y posteriormente la idea es aumentar en 75 más para llegar a las 350, vamos a crear la red municipal también, para poder trabajar con las organizaciones sociales de base, las juntas de vecinos, construcción de multicanchas, y así darle un sello bien especial al tema de construcción”.

“Por otro lado, un compromiso ineludible que tenemos es con nuestros adultos mayores, tener un centro de larga estadía para aquellos que están olvidados, o que muchas veces sus familias no los pueden tener, o están postrados, para que puedan tener este recinto de larga estadía, parecido a lo que está en Copiapó, el ELEAM, que también está en Chañaral, hemos tenido ya la relación de análisis con SENAMA, para trabajar fuertemente con los adultos mayores, y también con aquellos que son autovalentes, para que puedan participar en talleres y un sinfín de actividades de entretención con sus pares, alimentación, talleres kinésicos, entre otras cosas”.

“En tercer lugar, mantenemos un compromiso férreo con la seguridad, tenemos que tener nuestra seguridad municipal si, o si, cámaras de televigilancia, vamos a crear este departamento, además de iluminar la comuna, nuestra intención es que de acá a fin de año podamos cambiar toda la luminaria de Huasco”.

“Otro tema que hemos tocado es darle infraestructura de alcantarillado y agua potable a los sectores rurales, que están tan olvidados, Huasco Bajo, El Pino, todo ese sector”.

P: ¿Cuál es el principal desafío que asumiría usted en caso de llegar a la alcaldía de Huasco?

R: Nuestro gran desafío es aumentar el presupuesto comunal de Huasco, que bordea los 4 mil millones de pesos, nuestra intención es que en esos 4 años podamos duplicar ese ingreso municipal, la recaudación del erario, y llegar ojalá al doble, 8 mil millones, ese es nuestro desafío y ejecutar por lo menos unos 30 mil millones en obras.

Deberíamos además, al cabo de los 4 años, contratar a más de 120 personas que dependan de la municipalidad y cerca de 30 personas más que van a estar encargadas de trabajar en la Corporación Deportiva y en la Corporación Cultural, que ya están creadas acá en el municipio, y la idea es darles vida, en términos de empleabilidad.

P: A su juicio, ¿Cuáles son las necesidades pendientes en la comuna y que deben tratarse con urgencia?

R: “En términos deportivos siento que estamos muy al debe, tenemos exponentes acá a nivel mundial, como al canotista Mario Valencia, que va a los Juegos Panamericanos, por ejemplo, por lo que tenemos un compromiso adquirido ya con los deportistas de tener nuestra piscina temperada acá en Huasco, que va a servir también para nuestros adultos mayores, necesitamos un polideportivo de manera urgente, así como el Karen Gallardo en Copiapó, porque no tenemos, no tenemos ni siquiera una pista atlética en Huasco, también es compromiso nuestro crear la Ciudad Deportiva, para todos aquellos deportistas que por alto rendimiento, competencia o esparcimiento, quieren ser parte del deporte, que en el fondo es vida y salud, por eso, tenemos un compromiso con los deportistas de la comuna, hemos desarrollado un plan deportivo, las mesas deportivas que vamos a tener el primer martes de cada mes, con todos los integrantes del deporte, incentivar la pesca deportiva, tenemos rugby, tenis de mesa, boxeo, artes marciales mixtas, todas esas disciplinas que se practican más informalmente en una junta de vecinos, tenemos que patentarlas municipalmente y darles todo el apoyo”.

“Además queremos rescatar nuestro patrimonio, visibilizar Huasco turísticamente. Mi intención es diseñar un plan turístico importante, porque el sello de nuestra administración va a ser Huasco “industrial-turístico”, tenemos un sinfín de ideas de como rescatar nuestro  patrimonio y hacerlo visible; como el aceite de oliva, tenemos exponentes de clase mundial, que exportan a todo el mundo, el mejor aceite de oliva está acá, la aceituna, el camarón de río, el congrio, que se dice que “el congrio de Chile es de Huasco”, en fin, visibilizar nuestros productos”.
