Balance nacional COVID: Chile sumó 5.357 casos nuevos con leve baja de positividad aunque con altos niveles en 4 regiones
*Se registraron 100 fallecidos en la última jornada, sumando un total de 27.318 decesos por el virus en lo que va de la pandemia en el país.
La tarde de este lunes, el Ministerio de Salud (Minsal) reportó 5.357 casos nuevos de COVID-19 en su balance presencial desde La Moneda.
De ellos, 3.478 fueron catalogados como contagios sintomáticos y 1.442 asintomáticos. Con esto, el total de pacientes activos bajó de 36.406 a 35.954.
Lo anterior se concluyó tras el análisis de 66.350 tests de PCR, lo que arrojó una positividad del 7,47%, lo más bajo desde el 3 de mayo (7,58%).
Pese a ello, la situación preocupa en cuatro regiones, donde esta marca se sobrepasa y llega a los dos dígitos: La Araucanía (16%), Aysén (14%), O’Higgins (11%) y Ñuble (10%).
Además, por segunda vez, el grupo etario entre 40 a 49 volvió a posicionarse en el segundo lugar de la ocupación UCI (654), desplazando al tercer puesto a los pacientes hospitalizados que tienen entre 60 a 69 (653).
Respecto a los fallecidos, se reportaron 100 decesos por causas asociadas al COVID en las últimas 24 horas, con lo que el total de víctimas fatales de la enfermedad en el país se elevó a 27.318.
