Minera Candelaria recibió reconocimiento por su gestión en Higiene y Salud Ocupacional otorgado por la ACHS

Minera Candelaria fue reconocida por su alto desempeño en materia de Higiene y Salud Ocupacional en el rubro minero a nivel nacional, galardón otorgado por la Asociación Chilena de Seguridad (ACHS).

El resultado es fruto del trabajo realizado durante 2019 y 2020 por la empresa, que permitió avances significativos en la gestión preventiva de enfermedades ocupacionales, además de altos estándares preventivos para el control de riesgos en terreno.

La ACHS destacó también el apoyo y compromiso de las áreas operativas para lograr indicadores sobresalientes de vigilancia médica de los trabajadores, considerado como un factor relevante para el éxito alcanzado.

El galardón que reconoce a la compañía por su “Permanente Compromiso y Gestión de Mejora Continua en Higiene y Salud Ocupacional”, fue recibido por Humberto Espejo, Director de Salud, Seguridad y Medio Ambiente; y Cristian Matus, subgerente de Prevención de Riesgos.  Del mismo modo, se firmó un compromiso para mantener la alianza ACHS – Minera Candelaria, con el objetivo de seguir mejorando la gestión de Higiene y Salud Ocupacional para prevenir enfermedades profesionales.
