Carabineros O.S.7 Atacama desarticuló organización dedicada al acopio y venta de drogas

Un total de cinco individuos de nacionalidad colombiana fueron detenidos por Carabineros del O.S.7 Atacama, tras una investigación desarrollada por parte de esta unidad especializada en conjunto con el Ministerio Público de Copiapó, que dejó al descubierto que se trataba de una organización criminal dedicada a la venta y acopio de drogas.
Los antecedentes entregados por Carabineros precisan que dicho procedimiento finalizó con la intervención del domicilio ubicado en el sector central de la comuna de Copiapó, la detención de los individuos y la incautación de droga.
Según lo informado por el jefe de la Sección O.S.7 Atacama, Capitán Eugenio Olea García, el domicilio allanado, está ubicado en el sector central de esta Comuna, en el que además funciona una conocida heladería, la que está siendo investigada si tiene relación o nexos con la citada organización criminal.
Tras esta investigación coordinada con la Fiscalía Local de Copiapó, donde se utilizaron variadas técnicas investigativas, entregadas por la Ley N° 20.000, con el fin de desbaratar bandas, organizaciones o meras agrupaciones dedicadas a la venta de sustancias Ilícitas, se logró nuevamente resultados positivos.
En una primera investigación se fiscalizó un vehículo Statión Wagon, donde sus ocupantes se dedicaban a la venta de drogas. Posteriormente y tras diligencias investigativas se llegó a este domicilio en el sector central, el que era utilizado como acopio de drogas. Allí se procedió a la detención de cinco ciudadanos de nacionalidad colombiana, de iniciales W.V.M, de 27 años, Y.C.M, de 41 años, R.J.O.A, de 29 años, S.R.S, de 30 años, y A.Y.O.S, de 33 años.
Producto de este procedimiento se incautó una importante cantidad de drogas, que tras el análisis arrojó un total de 5 kilos 858 Gramos de Pasta base de cocaína y 39 Gramos de Clorhidrato de cocaína, equivalentes a 17.652 dosis aproximadamente, con un avalúo de $ 35.000.000 de pesos.
También se incautó el vehículo Station Wagon en el que se movilizaban los imputados y distintos medios de prueba asociados al ilícito, y la suma de $ 300.000 en Dinero en efectivo.
El fiscal a cargo de la investigación instruyó que los imputados por infracción a la Ley 20.000, pasaran a su respectivo control de detención, ante el Tribunal de Garantía en Copiapó, el cual decretó que quedaran bajo la medida cautelar de prisión preventiva mientras dure la investigación.
