José Antonio Kast da positivo a COVID-19
Durante este martes el presidente del Partido Republicano, José Antonio Kast, —exdiputado y excandidato presidencial— dio positivo a coronavirus.
Tras confirmar su afectación a través de redes sociales, señaló: “Cuídense, se vienen semanas difíciles para Chile antes de que podamos derrotar esta enfermedad”.
De igual forma, Kast compartió un video donde dio a conocer su situación: “El día de hoy por la mañana he recibido una notificación de que estoy contagiado de COVID. El día domingo en la tarde, desde que sentí algunos de los primeros síntomas, tomé ciertos resguardos y me hice junto con toda mi familia el test del PCR”.
“De todos, el único que dio positivo fui yo, y opté por aislarme en mi hogar esperando este resultado que hoy (…) ha salido positivo. He tenido algunos síntomas menores, como fiebre, alguna molestia nasal, pero puedo decir que en términos generales me siento bien y que confío en dios en que en los próximos días yo y mi familia podamos superar esta enfermedad sin mayores inconvenientes”, sostuvo.
En esa línea, mencionó que desde “hace casi un año que la pandemia llegó a Chile y al igual que la mayoría de todos he tratado de cumplir con todas las normas sanitarias y las medidas que nos han señalado para cuidarme y también para cuidar a otros de no contagiarlos con este virus”.
“Para ello siempre he tenido un frecuente lavado de manos, he usado mascarillas, alcohol gel y he mantenido la distancia física posible con las personas con las cuales me encuentro. Lamentablemente todo esto no fue suficiente”, declaró.
