Balance COVID nacional: 157 fallecidos y 3.729 contagios nuevos registró Chile ayer
*El Minsal explicó que los jueves suelen aumentar las cifras de fallecidos debido a la suma de casos desde el fin de semana.
El Ministerio de Salud reportó este jueves un total de 3.729 contagios nuevos, alcanzando un total de 764.307 casos confirmados desde marzo del año pasado.
El balance reflejó un total de 2.600 casos con síntomas y 1.000 asintomáticos. A la fecha se han recuperado 723.493 personas.
La autoridad además reportó un total de 157 fallecidos en este reporte, alcanzando una cifra total de 19.262 decesos. El subsecretario Alberto Dougnac resaltó que los jueves suele aumentar este número debido a que se suman los casos ocurridos desde el fin de semana.
