Música chilena inclusiva: Documentales para personas con discapacidad sensorial
Cuando somos protagonistas de un momento único en nuestra historia ad portas de la escritura de una nueva Constitución, resulta imprescindible esta vez contemplar en ella a todas y todos los ciudadanos, sin excepción. Es en este contexto en donde el trabajo que viene realizando desde 2017 la productora Almada Media, especialista en accesibilidad audiovisual, cobra mucho más sentido.
En el marco del Primer Encuentro Nacional de Cine + Música, se estrenó la IV Colección de Documentales Inclusivos para TODAS Y TODOS + Música que contiene tres películas chilenas adaptadas para personas con discapacidad visual y auditiva.
Los documentales abordan la vida de músicos chilenos, exponentes de diferentes estilos en distintos contextos históricos: Rosita, la favorita del Tercer Reich de Pablo Berthelon, Escape al silencio, notas de vida de Alfredo Espinoza de Diego Pequeño y Unfinished Plan, el camino de Alain Johannes de Rodolfo Garate.
“El acceso a la vida cultural es un derecho para todas las personas que debiera estar garantizado, pero cuando hablamos de discapacidad sensorial queda mucho camino por recorrer. El desafío de hacer accesible estas películas fue complementar las locuciones de doblaje y audiodescripción, parte de estas historias se desarrollan en Francia, Alemania y Estados Unidos. Esta IV Colección es un paso más para lograr que el cine tenga acceso universal gracias a las tecnologías que tenemos actualmente, y de esta forma lograr un cambio significativo en la sociedad”, explicaron Soledad Silva y Paula Talloni, fundadoras de Almada Media.
Con el fin de llevar la cultura a todas las personas, las exhibiciones se realizaron para diferentes comunidades de organizaciones asociadas a personas con discapacidad sensorial, como la Biblioteca Central para Ciegos, Colegio Hellen Keller, Colegio Santa Lucía -instituciones de la Región Metropolitana- y el Instituto Antonio Vicente Mosquete -presente en la Región de Valparaíso-.
“Fundación ProCultura impulsa proyectos que, ante todo, buscan mejorar la calidad de vida y bienestar de las personas a través del arte, la cultura y el patrimonio. El cine documental es un género que contribuye a la memoria histórica y a nuestra identidad, por eso trabajamos con Almada Media, porque nos parece fundamental que la comunidad con discapacidad visual y auditiva tenga acceso al cine chileno y a apreciar obras cuyo eje sea la música”, señaló Alberto Larraín, director ejecutivo de Fundación ProCultura.
Por último, la Colección de Documentales Inclusivos tiene un trabajo de adaptación que consiste en audiodescripción, subtítulos de diálogos y descriptivos, lengua de señas chilena y cuenta con la asesoría de profesionales pertenecientes a la comunidad sorda y ciega. Almada Media ofrece muestras y exhibiciones online de las películas para todas las instituciones y su comunidad, asociadas a personas con discapacidad sensorial, y entrega de forma gratuita la colección en DVD, a través del correo electrónico contacto@almadamedia.cl.
