Dólar se cotizó a la baja y con absoluta presión a nivel local ante eventual nuevo retiro de las AFP
Este jueves el dólar se cotizó a la baja en su apertura, cayendo un 0,15% y ubicándose en los $753,65, completamente acoplado a un dólar índex que se debilita a nivel internacional, cayendo un 0,10%.
El dólar parece no tener fuerza, donde el optimismo en torno a la distribución de las vacunas y la implementación de nuevos estímulos fiscales de Estados Unidos invitan a los inversores a tomar más riesgo.
Francisco Román, analista de mercados de XTB Latam, explicó que a lo anterior se suman “las apuestas sobre una distribución y logística exitosa de las vacunas, que conllevan a los inversores a confiar en el crecimiento global y, por lo tanto, en las monedas de más riesgo en desmedro del refugio seguro que otorga el dólar”.
En el plano local, puntualizó el experto, los mercados estaban atentos a la Cámara de Diputados, que tendría ayer una larga jornada en la que se votó el proyecto del Gobierno para el segundo retiro de fondos previsionales. El Senado también tenía en agenda despachar el proyecto, si era aprobado por la Cámara.
“Luego de intensas negociaciones con su bancada, el Gobierno accedió a subir el monto para el inicio del pago de impuestos por el segundo retiro de fondos desde las AFP, pasando desde los $700 mil como renta mensual original a $1,5 millón mensual, lo que contó con el respaldo del oficialismo la oposición”, recordó el analista de XTB Latam.
