Miguel Angel Mujica fue reelecto como presidente del Comité Olímpico de Chile
El presidente del Comité Olímpico de Chile, Miguel Angel Mujica, fue reelecto en su cargo luego de las elecciones realizadas este sábado en el Centro de Entrenamiento Olímpico.
Mujica, quien asumió en 2016, se impuso cómodamente por43-12 luego de la votación que ejercieron los 54 presidentes de federaciones, además de Neven Ilic (miembro del Comité Olímpico Internacional) y Francisca Crovetto (dirigente de la Agrupación de Deportistas de Alto Rendimiento de Chile).
La lista de Mujica la componen además Aquiles Gómez (vicepresidente), Jaime Agliati (secretario general), Rodrigo Moreno (tesorero) y Patricia López (primera directora).
A ellos se suman Leslie Cooper (segunda directora), Tito Muñoz (tercer director) Luis Santa Cruz (cuarto director), y Sebastián Wenz (quinto director).
«Estoy muy contento por la asistencia total, incluso los representantes de los deportistas y el miembro del COI. Eso da una tranquilidad porque es reconocer el trabajo que se ha hecho estos tres años. Ahora hay que empezar a trabajar pensando en los cuatro años siguientes. Hubo gran respaldo, es un símbolo de la unión. No solo es un respaldo a mi persona, sino a todo el directorio», dijo al Canal del Deporte Olímpico.
