Charla abordará la mirada mapuche sobre los eclipses solares
El 14 de diciembre se producirá un eclipse solar que, en la Araucanía, será más impresionante que el visto el 2 de julio de 2019. En ese contexto, resulta interesante conocer la mirada del pueblo Mapuche sobre estos fenómenos.
Este es el tema y la inquietud que abordará la charla “Wallmapu Ñi Ian Antu – Un eclipse desde el mundo Mapuche”, que Simón Crisóstomo Loncopán y Romà Martí Mateo, de Rutas Ancestrales Araucarias.
La íntima relación de los mapuche con la naturaleza, hace particularmente interesante el sentido que le dan a los eclipses. En esta cultura el eclipse, el hecho de que se tape el sol, es considerado un mal presagio o el anuncio de cambios. Lai Antü -eclipse en mapuzangun- significa “muerte del sol”, y al ser total -como lo será-, el que la Tierra no reciba su luz, significa que se producirán cambios.
