Operativo de Salud en Hogar de Ancianos Madre Teresa de Calcuta
Profesionales de la Salud de Rotary Club de Copiapó, doctor Tagle Cedeño Castro; kinesiólogo, Arsenio López Rivera, además de enfermera y tens realizaron este fin de semana una intervención humanitaria en el Hogar de Ancianos Madre Teresa de Calcuta.
En el operativo del fin de semana también se incluyeron entregas de cajas con alimentos no perecibles a otros establecimientos, como es el caso del Hogar «Dama Blanca» y a adultos mayores que viven solos en sus hogares.
Cabe hacer mención que este tipo de iniciativas humanitarias se enmarcan en el Proyecto de Servicio «Plan Covid -19 – Rotarios en Acción», que desde abril a la fecha ya ha entregado 142 cajas con productos alimenticios por $2.030.000 aproximadamente, y más de 1.400 mascarillas de protección respiratoria (avaluadas en $700.000), además de mantas de abrigo, guantes, alcohol gel y otros elementos de higiene y seguridad, lo que asciende a la suma total de $2.730.000.
