Balacera en el centro de Santiago deja un carabinero y una mujer heridos
Un funcionario de Carabineros y una mujer resultaron heridos la noche del viernes en medio de un intercambio de disparos entre los uniformados y delincuentes en el centro de Santiago.
El hecho ocurrió cerca de las 22:00 horas entre avenida 10 de Julio con Nueva de Valdés, luego que vecinos del sector contactaran a la policía por disparos.
Tras la llegada de los efectivos, se inició el intercambio de disparos, dejando como resultado un carabinero perteneciente “a la Sección de Investigación Policial, y además también una transeúnte, una mujer que se encontraba en la vía pública esperando tomar un taxi”, según el mayor Cristian Mediavilla de la 4° Comisaría de Santiago Central.
El funcionario fue derivado al hospital institucional y la mujer a la Posta Central. Ambos están fuera de riesgo vital.
En tanto, fue detenido un sujeto con antecedentes por porte ilegal de armas de fuego.
