Atacameños participan en Nacional de Atletismo
Los atletas atacameños del Programa Promesas Chile del Ministerio del Deporte y que administra el IND, están compitiendo en el Campeonato Nacional de Atletismo sub 16 y sub 18 que se realiza en el Complejo Quilamapu en Chillán, donde han obtenido los siguientes resultados: En la prueba de lanzamiento del martillo, Almendra Jofré, 2ª en sub16, con un registro de 46, 50 metros; Romina Pastén, 5ª en sub16, con un envío de 42 metros; Cristian Ortiz, 2º en sub18, con un registro de 60,43 metros y Javier Rivera, 3º en sub18, con un lanzamiento de 55,78 metros.
En la prueba de 1500 metros con obstáculos, Joaquín Vallejos fue sexto con una marca de 5:12,19 minutos.
