Hoy a las 14 horas comienzan a funcionar los colegios escrutadores, organismos que tienen por finalidad reunir las actas de los escrutinios realizados en las Mesas Receptoras de Sufragios, sumar los votos que en ellas se consignen y cumplir las demás funciones que señala la ley. En el caso de Copiapó, estarán concentrados en el Liceo Mercedes Fritis, además de constituirse en Caldera, y en todas las provincias de la región.
Las personas que fueron designadas, cuya selección fue publicada en conjunto a los vocales de mesa tienen que presentarse en su local destinado a las 14 horas.
