Aprueban rebaja transitoria de la dieta parlamentaria en un 50%

  • Los diputados establecieron que así regirá hasta que la ley salga del Congreso y el Banco Central defina un sueldo definitivo, ya que ese organismo tendrá la atribución de hacerlo según el proyecto.

La comisión de Constitución de la Cámara de Diputados aprobó una rebaja inmediata de la dieta parlamentaria en un 50%, aunque de forma transitoria, hasta que se fije el sueldo definitivo. Según estableció la instancia, será el Banco Central el que tendrá la facultad para establecer la dieta de los legisladores, es por eso que esta rebaja del 50% se aplicará -según propone la comisión- una vez que el proyecto se convierta en Ley.

Luego el ente emisor declarará el sueldo definitivo. La indicación aprobada también considera una disminución de la dieta a la mitad para el Presidente de la República, ministros, subsecretarios, intendentes, gobernadores y alcaldes. Además se aprobó una indicación propuesta por Chile Vamos que agrega a los miembros del Poder Judicial. Respecto a los funcionarios elegidos a través de Alta Dirección Pública, se estableció que el Banco Central tendrá que considerar un criterio diferente a los funcionarios de confianza del aparato estatal a la hora de fijar esos sueldos.
