Minsal reporta 1.131 casos nuevos y 20 fallecidos a nivel nacional con la menor cantidad de exámenes de los últimos 14 días
Este miércoles las autoridades entregaron un nuevo balance respecto a la situación de la pandemia en país, donde se dio cuenta de 1.131 casos nuevos de COVID-19 y 19.706 exámenes PCR realizados, la menor cantidad de testeos realizados en los últimos 14 días.
Con respecto a los 1.131 nuevos casos, 803 corresponden a personas sintomáticas y 309 a personas que no presentan síntomas. Además, se registraron 19 test PCR Positivo que no fueron notificados.
La cifra total de personas que han sido diagnosticadas con COVID-19 en el país alcanza a las 474.440. De ese total, 14.297 pacientes se encuentran en etapa activa.
En cuanto a los decesos, de acuerdo a la información entregada por el Departamento de Estadística e Información de Salud (DEIS), en las últimas 24 horas se registraron 20 fallecidos por causas asociadas al COVID-19. El número total asciende a 13.090 en el país.

En tanto, Magallanes sigue manteniendo la tasa de incidencia actual más alta por 100 mil habitantes.
Además, la autoridad sanitaria informó que “de los 1.131 casos nuevos, 19% se origina por búsqueda activa de casos (BAC) y un 28% de los notificados son asintomáticos. En cuanto a la región Metropolitana, presenta un 18% por BAC y 27% de los casos notificados son asintomáticos”.
