Cristian Garín gana y avanza en Roland Garros
Tras su positiva actuación en el ATP 500 de Hamburgo, donde alcanzó las semifinales, el chileno Cristian Garín inició de muy buena manera su participación en Roland Garros.
Garín, quien se sitúa en la posición 19ª del ranking mundial, derrotó por parciales de 6-4, 4-6, 6-1,6-4 al alemán Philipp Kohlschreiber (74) en casi tres horas de partido.
El nacional se vio sólido en su juego y salvo algunos detalles del saque y un bajón de nivel durante el segundo set, tuvo un correcto desempeño con sendos quiebres en momentos claves del trámite, tales como el décimo game de la primera manga, por mencionar alguno.
