El Faro: Gobierno de El Salvador negocia con la pandilla MS13 desde el 2019
El Gobierno del presidente de El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, mantiene negociaciones con la pandilla Mara Salvatrucha (MS13) para reducir las cifras de homicidios desde junio de 2019 y obtener apoyo electoral en las elecciones de febrero de 2021, según una investigación publicada por el medio local El Faro.
“Documentos oficiales del Ejecutivo registran desde junio de 2019 negociaciones del actual Gobierno con líderes encarcelados de la MS-13”, reseña el periódico digital en un largo texto, en el que da cuenta que tuvo acceso a “cientos de páginas de informes de inteligencia penitenciaria y libros de novedades de dos cárceles de Máxima Seguridad” y conversaciones con un líder de la pandilla.
Estos documentos señalan supuestos ingresos irregulares a dos prisiones de máxima seguridad del director de Centro Penales, Osiris Luna, acompañado de sujetos encapuchados y que no fueron identificados para supuestamente reunirse con líderes de la agrupación criminal. Las reuniones documentadas fueron al menos 14 y en varias de estas también habría participado el director de Tejido Social, Carlos Marroquín.
