SEC ha recibido casi 49.000 reclamos por cobros excesivos en cuentas eléctricas
La Superintendencia de Electricidad y Combustibles informó que ha recibido cerca de 49.000 reclamos por cobros excesivos en la cuenta eléctricas, entre el 18 de marzo y este lunes, y que este incremento se está subsanando.
Luis Ávila, superintendente de Electricidad y Combustibles, reiteró el incremento en las boletas y explicó que este problema comenzó después que las compañías retomaran la lectura presencial de los medidores al ajustar los procesos e implementaran una facturación provisoria, en base al promedio de los últimos seis meses.
Cerca de 120.000 clientes en todo el país, han llegado a acuerdo con las empresas distribuidoras de energía para prorrogar el pago en hasta 12 meses de la cuenta, debido a la crisis sanitaria y económica.
