Dólar sigue perdiendo terreno en Chile ante salto del cobre
El peso chileno mostró una buena mañana este lunes, medio de señales de esperanza por el lado de la economía local y el precio del cobre e ignorando una dinámica de depreciación en las monedas emergentes y manteniendo la presión bajista sobre el dólar.
A minutos de la apertura del mercado, el tipo de cambio se ubicaba en $ 754,67, según datos de Bloomberg, lo que arrojó una caída de $ 3,06 con respecto al cierre del viernes. Dicha interacción se dio luego de que el Banco Central publicada que la caída del Imacec no fue tan dramática como se esperaba.
La divisa chilena está siendo apoyada por el buen momento que vive la exportación de cobre, considerando que el precio de los futuros se aprecia casi 1 % en el mercado de materias primas de Chicago, ubicándose en US$ 2,8965 por libra actualmente.
Estos elementos ayudan a hacerle contrapeso a una dinámica internacional que favorece al billete estadounidense, con un dólar internacional que está ganando terreno y presionando a las mayores monedas del mundo emergente.
Mientras que la cotización multilateral de la divisa referente -medido a través del Dollar Index, que lo contrasta con una canasta de divisas- se aprecia un 0,49 %, los emergentes pierden terreno casi en bloque, incluyendo los mayores referentes regionales: el real brasileño y el peso mexicano.
