$400 M demandó renovación del Estadio Techado de Vallenar Honorio Mieres Neira

La Gobernadora Provincial del Huasco, Nelly Galeb; el Seremi del Deporte Guillermo Procuriza; el Director del IND Claudio Cereceda, y el administrador municipal de Vallenar, Jorge Villalobos, recepcionaron las obras de conservación del Estadio Techado “Honorio Mieres Neira” de Vallenar, que contó con una inversión de 400 millones de pesos del Ministerio del Deporte, ejecutada a través del Instituto Nacional de Deportes.

En la visita al renovado recinto, la Gobernadora Provincial señaló su satisfacción por la obra: “Hacemos entrega de este proyecto que fue finalizado, y va a ser entregado a la comuna de Vallenar, para que una vez que termine la pandemia, lo podamos seguir usando. Fue totalmente remodelado y arreglado. Quiero recalcar que a pesar de la pandemia, el Gobierno sigue trabajando en sus obras para dar cumplimiento de todo lo comprometido”.

INVERSIÓN:

El Seremi indicó que “como Ministerio del Deporte, que encabeza la Ministra Cecilia Pérez, estamos muy contentos de haber invertido $1892 millones, para conservar los Estadios Techados de Vallenar y Freirina; los estadios de fútbol de Caldera, Vallenar (Villa Edén) y Chañaral; el sellado de la losa del Estadio Luis Valenzuela Hermosilla y la construcción de la cancha de patinaje de Barquito en Chañaral. Todos ellos necesitaban reparaciones para mejorar las condiciones de práctica deportiva y así hacer de Chile un país de deportistas, como nos ha indicado el Presidente Sebastián Piñera”.

En tanto, el Director del IND comentó sobre la concreción de esta iniciativa, que “las obras realizadas en este Estadio que es propiedad del IND y es administrado por la I. Municipalidad de Vallenar, consistieron en reponer la superficie del campo de juego, barandas de la multicancha y graderías, cubierta de techumbre, revestimientos laterales del recinto, conservar baños y camarines y la habilitación de un baño con acceso universal”.
