Junaeb extiende vigencia de saldo de Beca de Alimentación para Educación Superior

El Ministerio de Educación, a través de la Junta Nacional de Auxilio Escolar y Becas (Junaeb), extendió la vigencia del saldo de la Beca de Alimentación para la Educación Superior (Baes) hasta el 5 de agosto, cuya medida beneficia a alrededor de 650 mil estudiantes, quienes pueden acceder a comprar alimentos envasados y preparados en miles de comercios en todas las regiones del país.

El propósito es atender las dificultades que enfrentan los estudiantes a la hora de utilizar el beneficio, por ello las empresas que administran el beneficio han habilitado medios de pago sin contacto y comercios con reparto a domicilio para facilitar el uso de la Baes en todo Chile.

Esta beca es un aporte más del Estado para ayudar directamente a los beneficiarios, pero también a sus familias, con la opción de acceder a alimentos nutritivos y saludables de todo tipo para sus hogares.

La directora Regional de Junaeb Atacama, Claudia Alvayai Rojas, informó que “estamos preocupados de llegar de la manera más oportuna y con calidad, a los estudiantes de Atacama a través de beneficios concretos que permiten la permanencia en el sistema de educación, así como generar condiciones que permitan concretar este fin”.
