Blumel desestima veto a ley que limita la reelección
El ministro del Interior desestimó la petición de RN y la UDI, de enviar un veto para permitir a alcaldes repostular -por última vez- a sus cargos. Gonzalo Blumel aseguró que “el Congreso ya tomó una decisión”.
Misma postura adoptaron partidos de la oposición, que descartaron revisar el límite a la reelección.
El ministro del Interior, Gonzalo Blumel, señaló que el Gobierno no está considerando presentar un veto supresivo a la ley que limita la reelección de las autoridades, la cual afectará a diputados, senadores y alcaldes, entre otros.
Es este último grupo el que preocupa en RN y la UDI, partidos que se verían afectados con la norma que evitaría que varios de sus alcaldes vayan a la reelección.
El jefe de gabinete señaló que “el Congreso ya tomó una decisión” y que hay otras iniciativas donde se están estudiando perfeccionamientos legales.
Puntualmente se refirió al proyecto que pretende eliminar las inhabilidades para que los alcaldes que quieran postular a otro cargo no tengan que renunciar al suyo.
