Nicolás Maduro dice que está dispuesto a conversar “respetuosamente” con Donald Trump
Nicolás Maduro afirmó que está dispuesto a conversar con el presidente estadounidense, Donald Trump, de manera respetuosa tal y como hizo en 2015 con el entonces vicepresidente y hoy aspirante demócrata a la Casa Blanca, Joe Biden, a pesar de tener una recompensa activa en su contra por los delitos de conspiración para el narcoterrorismo, conspiración para la importación de cocaína, y tenencia de armas y otros artefactos destructivos.
“Mi respuesta es que, así como me reuní con Biden y conversamos largamente de manera respetuosa, cosa que quedó registrada en su momento, también, en el momento que sea necesario, estoy dispuesto a conversar respetuosamente con el presidente Donald Trump”, dijo Maduro a la estatal Agencia Venezolana de Noticias.
El presidente estadounidense sostuvo el lunes que sólo se reuniría con Maduro para conversar sobre la “salida pacífica del poder” de este, poco después de afirmar en una entrevista que estaba abierto a mantener ese encuentro. “Al contrario que la izquierda radical, yo SIEMPRE estaré en contra del socialismo y con el pueblo de Venezuela. ¡Mi Gobierno siempre ha estado del lado de la LIBERTAD y contra el régimen opresor de Maduro! ¡Sólo me reuniría con Maduro para abordar un tema: una salida pacífica del poder!”, escribió Trump en Twitter.
