Bomberos aprueba rebaja presupuestaria dada «la compleja situación» por covid-19 y pide imputarla a dos items

El directorio nacional de Bomberos de Chile informó que aprobó la rebaja presupuestaria acordada con el Gobierno de los montos otorgados por el fisco. Según explicó, la decisión adoptada ayer en sesión extraordinaria se debe a «la compleja situación» por el covid-19. La propuesta de reducción por $1.400 millones, informó, es «aplicable exclusivamente al ejercicio presupuestario 2020».                                

En una carta al ministro de Hacienda, Ignacio Briones, la institución le solicitó imputarla a dos items: «Funcionamiento de la Junta Nacional y organismos dependientes» (por $696.585.000) y «Capacitación Bomberos de Chile» (por $703.415.000. «Bomberos de Chile ha aprobado esta rebaja presupuestaria, en consideración a la compleja situación por la que atraviesa nuestra nación producto de la pandemia del covid-19, teniendo especialmente en vista la necesidad de concentrar la mayor cantidad de recursos públicos para atender la salud y el bienestar de nuestros compatriotas», informó.               

Agregó que se debe procurar «no comprometer directamente el presupuesto para el funcionamiento y operatividad de los 313 Cuerpos de Bomberos del país individualmente considerados, sino más bien, afectando principalmente el presupuesto de la estructura de organización y soporte administrativo nacional».
