Intendente destaca destinación de más de $1.300 millones a municipios
El Intendente de Atacama Patricio Urquieta Garcia, destacó el anuncio realizado por el Presidente Sebastián Piñera, en orden a apoyar a los municipios del país por el tema Covid-19. En el caso de esta región el aporte será, por una suma superior a los mil 300 millones de pesos.
Dichos recursos irán como paliativo a las pérdidas que han tenido las municipalidades del país, por el tema de la pandemia.
Tal apoyo va contenido en un paquete de medidas determinadas por el Gobierno para ir en apoyo de las comunas del país.
Manifestó la autoridad que «todo el mundo público, el Estado y las Municipalidades, vamos a tener que hacer ajustes porque vamos a tener una situación muy difícil este año, y como consecuencia de eso, el principal objetivo nuestro es poder gestionar los recursos públicos con austeridad. Añadió que “estamos haciendo un gran esfuerzo por apoyar a los municipios, y por eso el Presidente ha hecho un anuncio muy importante para adelantar flujos de recursos a los municipios durante el mes de junio y el mes de mayo, y además aportar con un fondo solidario que va a ser distribuido en las regiones y en las comunas. En Atacama se van a distribuir más de $1.370 millones con el objetivo de atender las necesidades de las personas más vulnerables».
