El jefe de la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) advirtió el miércoles sobre los riesgos de una vuelta a los confinamientos si los países que van dejando atrás las restricciones por la pandemia no manejan las transiciones “con mucho cuidado y un enfoque gradual”.
El director general de la OMS, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, enumeró una serie de pasos necesarios antes de que los países retiren las medidas diseñadas para controlar la propagación de la enfermedad respiratoria covid-19, como los controles de vigilancia y la preparación del sistema de salud.
