Dos detenidos y el tercero estaba en prisión preventiva: PDI establece participación de tres sujetos en homicidio en julio del año pasado

Detectives de la Brigada de Homicidios (BH) de la PDI de Atacama, lograron establecer la participación de tres sujetos en el homicidio ocurrido en julio del 2019 en contra de un joven en la Población Los Volcanes, quien falleció luego de que los imputados lo atacaran con un elemento punzo penetrante en el cráneo.

En relación al hecho el Jefe de la Brigada de Homicidios subprefecto Carlos Bartheld señaló lo siguiente “el 14 de julio el año pasado, por solicitud de la Fiscalía, detectives concurrieron a un sitio del suceso por el delito de lesiones graves, la víctima fue un joven de 25 años sin antecedentes policiales, de iniciales C.R.Z. Respecto de sus lesiones presentaba una fractura de cráneo en su zona frontal ocasionada por un elemento punzo penetrante y producto de la gravedad de las mismas fallece en el Hospital Regional una semana después de cometido el ilícito. Como resultado de las diligencias se logra aportar los medios probatorios a la Fiscalía y con ello la identificación de tres imputados. Todos de sexo masculino, chilenos, de 25, 28 y 40 años de edad, todos con un amplio prontuario de delitos”.

La extensa investigación coordinada con la Fiscalía de Atacama tuvo resultados positivos, logrando la detención del primer imputado el día 9 de abril quien se encuentra en prisión preventiva. Durante la tarde del miércoles se detuvo a un segundo imputado quien fue puesto a disposición del Juzgado de Garantía de Copiapó ayer en la mañana para el control de detención respectivo. Para el tercer imputado en la investigación, el fiscal solicitó una orden de detención verbal, la que fue otorgada por el magistrado, sin embargo, el sujeto se encuentra recluido en la Cárcel de Copiapó por el delito de amenazas, por lo que fue puesto ayer a disposición del tribunal para su formalización por el delito de Homicidio.

FISCALÍA FORMALIZA Y OBTIENE PRISIÓN PREVENTIVA DE DOS IMPUTADOS POR HOMICIDIO OCURRIDO EN COPIAPÓ La Fiscalía de Atacama formalizó este jueves a dos imputados por su participación en un delito de homicidio ocurrido en Copiapó el año pasado, ocasión en que junto a un tercer involucrado, quien actualmente se encuentra formalizado y en prisión preventiva por este delito, golpearon violentamente a la víctima en la vía pública.                                                                                                                                                
Los hechos contenidos en esta investigación fueron argumentados por el fiscal Sebastián Coya, quien indicó que el 14 de julio del 2019 la víctima de este hecho coordinó una reunión con una adolescente, hija del actual detenido privado de libertad, a quien había conocido a través de redes sociales.                                                                                                                       “De acuerdo a los antecedentes el fallecido llegó al encuentro, lugar en que lo esperaba el padre de la joven junto a los dos imputados formalizados este jueves, quienes habían planeado darle una lección a esta persona por tomar contacto con una menor de edad. Abordándolo de manera sorpresiva y golpeándolo violentamente con objetos contundentes en la cabeza y distintas partes del cuerpo, cayendo éste al suelo al parecer inconsciente. Momento en que continuó la agresión por parte de los imputados”, dijo el fiscal.                     

Sebastián Coya agregó que luego de la golpiza los imputados se alejaron del lugar dejando al herido en la vía pública, quien debió ser atendido de urgencia en el Hospital Regional por las graves lesiones que presentaba y que lo mantuvieron con riesgo vital durante una semana, falleciendo finalmente a pesar de los esfuerzos médicos realizados en el recinto asistencial.          

Por estos hechos, los dos imputados que fueron sometidos a la audiencia este jueves fueron formalizados por su responsabilidad en el delito de homicidio calificado. Solicitando el fiscal la medida cautelar de prisión preventiva, petición sustentada en los antecedentes reunidos en la carpeta investigativa de este caso y que han sido reunidos con el trabajo de la Brigada de Homicidios de la PDI. Consiguiendo que el Juez de turno decretara dicha cautelar por considerar a los imputados un peligro para la seguridad de la sociedad. Fijando además un plazo de tres meses para el cierre de la investigación, luego de lo cual la Fiscalía continuará con el proceso penal para avanzar hasta la instancia de audiencia de Juicio Oral.
