A raíz del rompimiento de una matriz en avenida Copayapu, a la altura de Van Buren en Copiapó, se produjo una fuga de agua potable que rápidamente escurrió por las calles pasando por el centro de Copiapó y llegar hasta esta hora al sector de la Alameda, provocando algunos problemas de tránsito y el cruce de peatones.
La empresa sanitaria ya tiene controlada la situación, aunque se espera que siga escurriendo agua por media hora más. Se indicó además que no hay cortes del suministro en ningún lugar hasta el momento.
