Turquía ordena a sus guardacostas que impidan el paso a los migrantes por el mar Egeo
El presidente turco, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, ordenó a los guardacostas que impidan a los migrantes cruzar el mar Egeo, rebajando las tensiones entre Turquía y la Unión Europea por la crisis migratoria.
“Por orden del presidente (…) no se dará ninguna autorización a los migrantes para que crucen el mar Egeo debido al peligro que conlleva”, informó el servicio de guardacostas en Twitter.
No obstante, la decisión de “no impedir que los migrantes abandonen Turquía (por tierra) sigue siendo válida”, precisó.
El servicio de guardacostas aseguró que el jueves rescató a 97 inmigrantes en peligro y acusó a los griegos de “desinflar las tres embarcaciones y dejarlas hundirse”.
Turquía y Grecia intercambian acusaciones mutuas. Los turcos denuncian la brutalidad de los griegos con los migrantes y los griegos acusan a Turquía de incitarlos e incluso de ayudarlos a pasar a Grecia.
