EXTRA: Confirman segundo caso de Coronavirus en Chile
La Seremi de Salud del Maule, Marlenne Durán, dio a conocer un nuevo caso de contagio por Covid-19 en Chile.
Se trata de la esposa del primer contagiado, cuya condición fue informada ayer por las autoridades sanitarias.
De acuerdo a lo informado por Durán, la mujer se encuentra en “muy buen estado de salud”, y “tiene menor sintomatología que su esposo”. Por dicho motivo, los familiares están en estudio epidemiológico.
“Si la paciente está en buenas condiciones de salud, probablemente será dada de alta y se siga bajo vigilancia en su domicilio”, afirmó la autoridad regional.
El intendente del Maule, Pablo Milad, señaló que “lo bueno es que este nuevo caso está directamente relacionado con el primer caso, y eso nos simplifica la tarea de cobertura”.
“Yo le pido calma a la ciudadanía, porque el caso va relacionado con el primero. Si fuera otro caso diferente, crearíamos otro sistema”, afirmó Milad.
