Hombre de 80 años es la tercera víctima fatal por coronavirus a bordo del Diamond Princess
Un tercer pasajero del crucero “Diamond Princess”, que se encuentra en cuarentena en un puerto de Japón, ha muerto tras haber contraído a bordo el COVID-19, informó el ministerio de Salud nipón el domingo.
En un comunicado, el ministerio anunció que la víctima es un japonés de unos 80 años, que sufría otras dolencias.
El hombre fue trasladado del barco a un hospital local después de haber sido diagnosticado positivo del COVID-19, añadió el comunicado, sin dar detalles de cuándo había dado positivo ni de cuándo fue tratado.
La causa de la muerte fue una neumonía, precisó el texto.
