Descartan caso sospechoso de coronavirus en el Bío Bío
La Seremi de Salud del Bío Bío descartó el caso sospechoso de coronavirus, correspondiente a un menor de 2 años de Coronel, quien llegó desde China junto a su familia el pasado 15 de febrero.
Al respecto, se refirió el titular de Salud en la región, Héctor Muñoz, que señaló que “se descarta el caso de coronavirus. Es súper bueno que la familia haya seguido los protocolos, haya avisado en el aeropuerto de Santiago que venía desde China”.
“La familia estaba en cuarentena y, por lo tanto, a los primeros síntomas de fiebre y tos el papá nos avisó y pudimos realizar las muestra para hacerle el examen de coronavirus y que salió negativo”, añadió la autoridad.
Finalmente, tras los exámenes efectuados y que fueron analizados por el Instituto de Salud Pública, se confirmó que el menor de dos años padece de influenza B.
